Stinging nettle has been used for centuries as an anti-inflammatory and skin soother. It has also been traditionally used to combat hair loss and promote regrowth as the leaves are rich on silica and sulfur. Nettle makes hair shinier and healthier.
Aloe vera has similar benefits for hair and also acts to moisturise the scalp, reduce dandruff and prevent itching. The Egyptians called it the 'plant of immortality' and it has a whole range of benefits for skin, including soothing burns, moisturising and calming inflammation.
